I’m heading down to Hanoi in April to participate at FOSSASIA. I’ll do a session for developers on building career by contributing to FOSS communities based on all of the profiles I’ve done with engineers, hackers, and scientists over the years. And I’ll take my personal camera and shoot as many images as I can. For me this is a vacation trip since my employer is not sending me, so I’ll be free to explore in ways that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. I’m looking forward to it. So far, the organizers have done an excellent job interacting with speakers to prepare for the conference. The event will cover three days of technical content along with social gatherings throughout. I think I’ll come home with a thousand images!
